Theresa Edder, Executive Director
Theresa joined the Northwest Hospital Foundation in May 2015, and is responsible for building and strengthening philanthropic ties within the community. She is also responsible for leading and strengthening a comprehensive program in support of the Foundation’s mission and goals.
Her background includes 15+ years experience in marketing and development administration in both higher education and healthcare. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Clarion University in Communications, and was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Honor Society. In 2018, she earned her certificate in non-profit executive leadership, and in 2021 earned her certificate in fundraising management, from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
In addition, she is a member of the Franklin Rotary Club and Clarion University Alumni Association. Theresa is a founding member of the Clarion County Community Foundation.
Kay E. Ensle, Executive Assistant
Kay joined the Northwest Hospital Foundation in September 2016. Her role supporting growth initiatives includes providing administrative support to the Executive Director, including donor research and data management, financial and goal reporting and social media communications.
She graduated from Clarion University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Library Science. Prior to joining the Northwest Hospital Foundation, her administrative experience included 20+ years serving as Director of the Oil City Library followed by joining the Management Team as Assistant to the Executive Dean at the Venango College of Clarion University.
Kay is very involved in the local community including the Venango County Association for the Blind, Oil City Garden Club, the Winnifred Tonkin Guild, Oil Heritage Festival, and the Zonta Club of Oil City-Franklin.
