UPMC Northwest Employee Scholarships Available

Awards are for coursework beginning in the summer or fall of the same year.

Stephen C. and Marie F. Cenedella Nursing Scholarship-
This scholarship was established to offset the cost of education intended to advance the scholarship recipient’s skills or qualifications as a member of the Hospital’s nursing staff.  Recipients will exemplify excellence in clinical practice, professional development and should be both self-directed and independent in the practice of his/her profession.

Medical Staff Scholarship – Established by the UPMC Northwest medical staff, this scholarship was established to provide financial support to UPMC Northwest employees working in an ancillary position who are beginning or completing their education leading to a degree, licensure, or certification in a healthcare related field.  For example, this scholarship supports the housekeeper who wants to go back to school for respiratory therapy or the maintenance technician who wants to become a nurse.

Please note:  All scholarships are paid directly to the educational institution and not the employee.  You must submit your tuition bill to Northwest Hospital Foundation with an outstanding balance equal or greater to the amount of your scholarship.
